Luxury hotel located very close to the Cairo Airport. The hotel has quite a number of restaurants serving food from all around the world. The rooms spacious and are well maintained and the hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel also arranges tours which I felt was very good. Had taken to tour to the Giza pyramid / Sphinx / Egyptian Museum. The tour guide had very good knowledge and spoke very good English and the vehicle provide was very well maintained by the driver. The hotel also has a few pubs and a casino.
Nice big hotel! Design on the building is very nice too. Lots of space in lobby area to enjoy, many quiet areas where you can just enjoy some art. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Food was good! Check in was fast and check out was easy! Security outside are armed with automatic machine guns! Nice and secure!
Great hotel, was great when it was Sheraton, when it was Fairmont and now when it's a Hilton. Amazing restaurants, the people working there are the same regardless of management and they've been in the hospitality business for quite the longest time. Good option if you want a getaway within Cairo with a nice pool, or if you want. A place to stay that's near the airport.
Bad experience indeed, the check in was messed up with regards to the rate provided which carried a huge mismatch between the two rooms I booked; I specifically asked for no smoking rooms and ended up on the smoking floor and when I tried to call from the room to change no response; moreover; the smell of the floor was entirely smoke filled and the bed sheets were also full of this smell. The food is not good at all and we ended up suffering from diarrhea; it was only when we complained about anything that they try to make it better but that is not happening as expected in any 5 star hotel by default. The swimming pool was repulsive to my children due to the extreme amount of bugs. House keeping was below average and I had to ask for many things which again wasn't by default present. I don't suggest this hotel unless u are obliged to stay in it. One last note; we wrote a feedback to five people in the hotel and no response whatever and this can only reflect the poor management and customer service you would face if you check in this hotel.
